About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and motivated Town Planner to join a forward-thinking and well-respected consultancy. The successful candidate will contribute to a variety of planning projects across residential, commercial, and rural developments. You’ll have the chance to work closely with clients, local authorities, and internal teams, providing expert advice and helping deliver impactful outcomes across the North.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide planning advice to a diverse range of clients across sectors.

  • Prepare and manage planning applications, appeals and development strategies.

  • Liaise with stakeholders including local authorities, landowners, and developers.

  • Keep up-to-date with planning legislation and policy changes.

  • Support the wider planning and development team on complex, multi-disciplinary projects.

Requirements:

  • RTPI accredited degree or equivalent.

  • Chartered Membership of the RTPI (or working towards).

  • Strong knowledge of the UK planning system.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
