LNT Construction Limited, part of LNT Care Developments, is now seeking a Town Planner, with experience, to join a reputable and thriving Planning Team. It’s a great opportunity to join this close-knit, well-respected and successful team.

Based in Garforth, East Leeds, you will already have some experience working as a Town Planner, in either a private or public sector setting – and be suitably qualified from an academic perspective.

About the role:

The position will involve managing planning project work in-house, as part of the team. This will involve initial site appraisals and evaluation; preparation of written reports and statements and submission of all planning application documentation.

It will also involve meeting and negotiating with Planning Officer’s and any/all parties involved in the planning application processes and being involved in Planning Committee and Appeal situations, as required.

As a result, you will need to be able to take ownership of projects – some planning experience within local authority or private sector, is therefore necessary.

About you:

·Experience in a Planning role of no less than 2 years

·High standards of written and verbal communication;

·Ambitious, self-motivated but also a genuine team player;

·A keen interest in the full land and planning process

·Full UK driving licence.
