Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd in East Sussex is seeking a Planning Consultant to join a friendly rural, property and environmental consultancy. The role covers a broad range of planning matters for diverse clients, including farms, estates, developers and investors.

Qualifications

• MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership.
• Experience across a broad range of planning matters and application types.
• Experience preparing and managing planning applications and appeals.
• Experience preparing representations in response to planning policy consultations. A strong understanding of the UK planning system and current planning policy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing workloads.
• A proactive, personable and commercially minded approach.
• Full UK driving licence.
