The Position of a Town Planner

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Town Planner to support a diverse portfolio of planning projects. In this role, you will collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to deliver high-quality planning advice and achieve successful outcomes for projects across various sectors, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

Key Responsibilities of a Town Planner

  1. Preparing and managing planning applications, appeals, and related submissions.
  2. Conducting site appraisals, planning policy reviews, and feasibility studies.
  3. Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.

What We're Looking For in Town Planner

  1. A degree in Town Planning, Urban Planning, or a related field (RTPI membership or eligibility preferred).
  2. Demonstrable experience in planning consultancy or local authority planning.
  3. Strong knowledge of UK planning systems, legislation, and procedures.
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
