I am working with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Birmingham, which is looking to expand its planning team. They are currently recruiting for a Planner, Senior Town Planner, and Associate Town Planner to join them on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a well-established consultancy working on a diverse range of projects across residential, commercial, infrastructure, and environmental sectors. The company offers a collaborative and supportive environment with clear career progression pathways.

The Role:

1. Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
2. Providing planning advice to clients across various sectors
3. Managing projects and liaising with local authorities and stakeholders
4. Supporting or leading on site appraisals, planning strategies, and policy reviews
5. Mentoring junior staff (Senior and Associate level)

Key Requirements:

1. A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline
2. MRTPI status (for Senior Planner level) or working towards accreditation for Planner level.
3. Experience in planning consultancy or local authority
4. Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and relevant legislation
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
6. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
