Westhoughton Town Council is seeking a motivated Town Clerk / Responsible Finance Officer. This part-time role involves guiding the council in legal and financial matters, with flexible hours and a supportive community environment. Westhoughton Town Council, in a popular and thriving town, are looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Town Clerk / RFO to guide and support the council with its legal and financial responsibilities as it serves the community.
It is desirable that the applicant has some role-specific qualifications (preferably CiLCA), although this isn’t necessary, and a basic knowledge of bookkeeping is also essential. This position would suit someone with vision who is creative, highly organised, motivated, and a good communicator.
