Job summary

Tripod Partners is recruiting a Qualified Social Worker for the Assessment Team in Torbay with immediate start. The role is an ongoing contract paying £42 per hour. You will handle CIN/CP, CP visits, CLA, and Section 47/47 investigations, including court reports and strategy meetings.

Seeking strong post-qualification experience in Children’s Services, particularly in assessment and duty work. Immediate start with a supportive recruitment team and payroll services via Tripod Partners.

Qualifications

• Post-qualified experience in Children’s services, assessment and duty work.
• Experience with CIN/CP/LAC cases is advantageous.
• SWETs, Section 7/47 reports experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Undertake Children’s social work assessments and duty cover.
• Prepare court reports and attend court as required.
• Contribute to strategy meetings and child protection planning.

• You will need to have strong post qualified experience in Children’s' Team - Assessment, Duty work - 2 years minimum qualified experience desired.
• Hold CIN and CP cases and hold LAC cases
• Completing SWETs
• Section 7 reports
• Section 47 assessments / strategy discussions /ICPCs
• Holding complex CP cases Including CP visits, Core groups RCPCs etc.
• Holding CLA cases including Stat reviews, PEPs and visits.
• Undertaking Section 47 investigations
• Writing court reports and attending court
• Attending Strategy Meetings, network and Professional Meetings.
