Tripod Partners is actively recruiting a Cafcass Family Court Advisor in Chelmsford for an hourly rate of £35.50. The role requires substantial post-qualification experience in children’s social work and involves assessments, duty work, and court report writing.

You will manage CIN/CP and LAC cases, conduct SWETs, strategy discussions, and attend court and relevant meetings. The position offers exposure to a wide range of cases across UK authorities, with a straightforward registration process

Responsibilities

• Strong post qualified experience in Children’s Team - Assessment, Duty work
• Hold CIN and CP cases and hold LAC cases
• Completing SWETs
• Section 7 reports
• Section 47 assessments / strategy discussions / ICPCs
• Holding complex CP cases Including CP visits, Core groups RCPCs etc.
• Holding CLA cases including Stat reviews, PEPs and visits.
• Undertaking Section 47 investigations
• Writing court reports and attending court
• Attending Strategy Meetings, network and Professional Meetings.
