Job summary

Stateside Foods Ltd in Manchester is seeking a Line Leader for the Toppings Department. The role runs Monday to Friday from 05:45 to 14:00, supervising a line in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing or similar line leadership.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a team.
• Food production experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve housekeeping/GMP within all areas.
• Replenish line with raw materials.
• Report/highlight any machinery or product related issues.
• Act as a role model for all agreed people management practices.
• Managing, guiding and coaching direct reports whilst demonstrating best practice at all times.
• Build effective relationships.
• Responsible for all CCP’s in designated areas.
• Completion of paperwork and checks with no errors.
• Promptly communicating problems to Team Leader.
• Provide 1st Line supervisory to the line and employees.
• Responsible for 1st Line Maintenance of equipment in the designated area.
• Any other adhoc tasks requested by management.
• Adhere to the company’s H&S policies and procedures.
• Adhere to the company’s Hygiene policies and procedures.
