Job summary

WSP is seeking a capable Topographical Surveyor to join our Liverpool/Northwich based team. You will coordinate live projects and perform land and engineering surveys while maintaining strict standards.

Qualifications

• A relevant technical degree/HND in surveying or a related discipline, with significant experience in a similar role, typically 3-7 years.
• Membership of a professional body would be advantageous.
• An understanding of project and commercial considerations.
• Experience in using total stations, GNSS & terrestrial laser scanners.
• Experience in software including N4ce (or similar), Trimble Business Centre (or similar) and AutoCAD.
• Experience in UAV planning would be advantageous but not essential.
• Experience in Buried Services Surveys would be advantageous but not essential.
• Knowledge of Cyclone or Cloudworx would be advantageous but not essential.
• Good problem solving, self-management and people skills.
• Ability to travel UK-wide regularly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate live projects.
• Carry out land and engineering surveys with respect to briefs and specifications.
• Process and check projects while adhering to prevailing standards.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Work within a team of 48 Surveyors UK-wide.
• Survey projects UK-wide for diverse clients.
