Job description

We are a crowdfunded company with a dedicated and enthusiastic community of backers committed to creating the “Best Damn Space Sim Ever”. We value exceptional and diverse talent.

As part of the graphics team, our Tools Programmers develop the essential tools that enable our programmers to build ambitious and technologically advanced games. These include editor tools for constructing solar systems and data pipelines for compressing large volumes of geometry and textures. Our tools programmers collaborate closely with Designers, Artists, Engineers, QA, and Production to solve various technical challenges.

Given the scale and complexity of our games, it is crucial that our tools empower developers to realize their visions, whether constructing vast asteroid belts or smaller features.

We share weekly updates, trailers, and streams of our main events at: https://www.youtube.com/c/RobertsSpaceInd

Founded in 2012, Cloud Imperium Games creates cutting-edge video games that challenge expectations. We are currently developing Star Citizen, a record-breaking multiplayer online space sim, and Squadron 42, a cinematic single-player adventure set in the same universe. Join us as we push boundaries and make gaming history.
