A well-established client in West Bromwich is seeking a Toolroom Operative for a full-time, permanent role. This position requires essential experience in CNC turning and understanding engineering drawings, along with desirable forklift and overhead crane licenses. The ideal candidate will possess solid IT skills, teamwork ability, and self-initiative to contribute effectively in a Toolroom environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Toolroom/Machining environment is essential.
• Forklift Truck and Overhead Crane licenses are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines and liaise with contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure adherence to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Work collaboratively within a team and independently.

Our well established client based in the West Bromwich area are looking for a Toolroom Operaive to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

The main duties of the Toolroom Operative vacancy include:-

• Forklift Truck License is desirable
• Overhead Crane License is desirable
• CNC Turning experience is essential
• Able to understand engineering drawings
• Liaise with contractors and suppliers
• Experience within a Toolroom/Machining environment

This role would suit someone who has previous experience within a Toolroom/Machining. You must have good IT skills and be able to work well within a team as well as on your own initiative.

This is a full time, permanent role working Monday to Friday.
