Job summary

Yolk Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Toolmaker to join a growing engineering team in a precision manufacturing environment. This role offers a varied workload, combining tool manufacture, refurbishment, tooling improvements and engineering support.

You will work closely with Production, Product Engineering and Manufacturing teams to ensure tooling meets the demands of a fast-moving operation. Rotating two-shift pattern applies.

Qualifications

• Toolmaker or toolroom experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong manual and CNC machining capabilities.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture new tooling and tooling components from drawings.
• Refurbish, modify and improve existing tooling.
• Support tooling projects for new products and manufacturing developments.
• Provide practical engineering solutions to manufacturing challenges.
• Contribute to tooling innovation and process improvements.
