Job summary

ALL SAINTS in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced Toolmaker for a busy, well-established manufacturing team on a dayshift. You will be hands-on, detail-driven and committed to keeping production running at its best.

Responsibilities include maintaining, repairing and modifying press tooling; supporting production to minimise downtime; diagnosing faults; trialing improvements; ensuring tooling meets quality and safety standards, and collaborating with engineers and production teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as Toolmaker in a pressings/stamping environment
• Knowledge of press tooling, maintenance and repair is advantageous
• Skilled in manual machining (milling, turning, grinding)
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• A proactive problem solver with strong attention to detail
• Apprentice trained or equivalent qualification preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintaining, repairing and modifying press tools and tooling
• Supporting production to minimise downtime
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out precision repairs
• Tool try-outs, improvements, and preventative maintenance
• Working with engineers and production teams to improve tool performance
• Ensuring tooling meets quality and safety standards
