Job summary

Sartorius in Stonehouse is seeking a Toolmaker to maintain, repair and modify injection mould tooling for the mould shop. You will set up and operate CNC Mills, CNC Lathes and grinders, inspect tooling and maintain detailed records to ISO 9001/13485 standards.

The role requires hands-on tooling experience, ability to read drawings, and strong problem-solving and teamwork skills. Shift pattern includes early and late rotations with on-site parking and company benefits.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or equivalent training in Toolmaking or related field.
• Hands-on experience in tool room, mould shop or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings; familiarity with 3D modelling software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and modify injection mould tooling and production tools.
• Manufacture and fit components for production jigs, fixtures and tooling using CNC and conventional equipment.
• Set up and operate CNC Mills, CNC Lathes, Grinders safely and efficiently.
• Inspect tooling and components with appropriate measurement tools and ensure tolerances.
• Maintain records for maintenance, repair and compliance per ISO and quality systems.
