Overview

REED Engineering & Manufacturing are working with a leading Engineering & Manufacturing company with strong emphasis on quality. Tool Maker, Mould equipment. Role description: Provide Production with adequate quantities of repaired Mould equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out the repair and maintenance of Mould equipment
• Record daily work carried out on a job sheet to provide an accurate reference point
• Fault finding and problem solving
• Demonstrate flexibility to support a 24-hour operation
• Carry out housekeeping in accordance with Company hygiene rules

Required skills / qualifications

• A dynamic approach with the ability to work proactively
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Gained a recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or Toolmaking
• Knowledge of mould equipment and repair techniques
• Knowledge of and commitment to continuous improvement
