The Opportunity

Action Recruitment is representing a well-established precision engineering firm in Willenhall, now seeking a skilled Technical Toolmaker to join their day shift team.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, repair, and modify jigs, fixtures, and tooling to tight tolerances
• Interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications
• Operate manual and CNC machinery to produce precision tooling
• Conduct tooling inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards
• Support production teams with tooling-related problem solving and improvements
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience in toolmaking within a precision engineering environment
• Strong understanding of machining processes and materials
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings
• Skilled in both manual and CNC machining (preferred)
• Methodical, quality-focused approach with good attention to detail

This is a permanent day shift role offering up to £18/hour
