Job description

We’re looking for a talented individual to join a forward-thinking team within the automotive sector, where your work will directly contribute to cutting-edge projects and high-quality production.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Maintain and service injection mould tools to strict TPM schedules.
  2. Troubleshoot and repair injection mould tools following breakdowns.
  3. Support production teams with tool repairs and maintenance as required.
  4. Make improvements and carry out minor modifications to injection mould tools.
  5. Stay on top of health and safety regulations to ensure tasks are completed safely.
  6. Stay organised, keeping track of records and time management.

What You’ll Bring:

  1. Time-served apprenticeship in toolmaking with an ONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  2. 5+ years of hands-on experience with plastic injection mould tooling, ideally in the automotive industry.
  3. Expert-level skills in milling, turning, and grinding machinery.
  4. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills, particularly in high-pressure situations.
  5. A proactive, self-sufficient mindset, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
