Are you a precision-driven Toolmaker looking to take your skills to new heights? Join our team at a leading aerospace manufacturer based in Redditch, where innovation meets craftsmanship.

Owen Daniels are working with a respected aerospace engineering company, renowned for delivering high-quality components and assemblies to some of the world's top aerospace brands. With a focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement, we're expanding our expert team and seeking a skilled Toolmaker to support our manufacturing operations.

As a Toolmaker, you will be responsible for:
  1. Manufacturing and repairing jigs, fixtures, and tools to tight tolerances
  2. Reading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering specifications
  3. Operating manual and CNC machines (milling, turning, grinding, etc.)
  4. Ensuring tooling is maintained to aerospace quality standards
  5. Collaborating with design, production, and quality teams
  6. Proactively identifying improvements to tooling processes
Qualifications/Experience:
  1. Proven experience as a Toolmaker in a manufacturing environment (ideally aerospace, automotive, or precision engineering)
  2. Strong manual machining skills
  3. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  4. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  5. Apprenticeship-trained or equivalent engineering qualification desirable
