Qualifications

• Must have a relevant apprenticeship or certification.
• Experience with CNC machines and surface grinding required.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, 3D modelling, or Inventor is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair press tooling, jigs, fixtures, and machine parts.
• Create and commission new jigs and fixtures.
• Assist with new product introduction and implement improvements.

Skills

Proficiency in CNC lathe

Proficiency in CNC mill

Surface grinding

Experience in AutoCAD

3D modelling skills

Education

Apprenticeship as Mechanical Fitter or Toolmaker

Due to growth, they are currently looking for an additional Toolmaker to support the team.
In this role your duties will include repairing press tooling, jigs, fixtures, and machine parts, create and commission new jigs and fixtures, assist with new product introduction, implement continuous improvement techniques,

The Role:

• Sunday to Thursday, 11pm to 7am
• £19.22 - £21.97, dependant on experience plus 33% shift premium (salary £49,942 to £57,987)
• Benefits - Monthly & yearly bonus, 33 days holiday inc bank holidays (can purchase additional days via scheme) Life insurance 3x salary, 5% pension, retail discounts

The person:

• Apprenticeship as Mechanical Fitter, Machinist, or Toolmaker or relevant NVQ Level 3/BTEC Level 3
• Proficiency in CNC lathe, CNC mill, and surface grinding
• Experience in AutoCAD, 3D modelling or inventor highly advantageous
