Job summary

CV Technical Limited in Guildford is seeking an experienced Toolmaker / Toolroom Engineer to join a specialist engineering workshop. The role involves milling, turning and surface grinding, bench fitting, deburring and hand finishing, and manufacturing components to engineering drawings; stripping and rebuilding vehicle sub-assemblies; and inspection and first-off approval.

Time-served apprenticeship is preferred; 2–3+ years' relevant experience is expected; newly qualified apprentices are

• Time-served apprenticeship preferred.
• Strong Toolmaker/Toolroom experience required.
• Good manual machining and bench-fitting skills.
• Able to work accurately from engineering drawings.
• 2–3+ years' relevant experience.

Toolmaker / Toolroom Engineer

Salary: Up to 45,000 / 22 per hour Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm Holiday: 22 days + Bank Holidays Permanent

About You

• Time-served apprenticeship preferred
