Job summary

CV TECHNICAL LTD is seeking an experienced Toolmaker / Toolroom Engineer to join a specialist engineering workshop in Guildford. The role covers manual milling, turning and surface grinding, bench fitting, deburring and hand finishing to engineering drawings.

You will manufacture and modify components, inspect parts, and carry out general toolroom duties. Time-served apprenticeships are preferred, with 2–3+ years of relevant experience; newly qualified apprentices are welcome with training

• Time-served apprenticeship preferred.
• Strong Toolmaker / Toolroom experience.
• Good manual machining and bench-fitting skills.
• Able to work accurately from engineering drawings.
• 2-3+ years' relevant experience.
• Newly qualified apprentices are welcome to apply, with training available.

Toolmaker / Toolroom Engineer

Salary: Up to £45,000 / £22 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm
Holiday: 22 days + Bank Holidays
