Job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Toolmaker to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in operating Micron CNC High Speed machining centres, Charmille CNC Wire eroders, Sodick CNC Spark eroders, and Jones & Shipman surface grinders. In addition, experience in in-house design using UniGraphics and CAM programming using Visi is required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain Micron CNC High Speed machining centres, Charmille CNC Wire eroders, Sodick CNC Spark eroders, and Jones & Shipman surface grinders
  • Use UniGraphics for in-house design and Visi for CAM programming
  • Fabricate precision tools and machinery parts according to engineering blueprints
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure accurate and efficient production
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards at all times
  • Work with a diverse team in a collaborative environment

Qualifications

  • Proven experience operating Micron CNC High Speed machining centres, Charmille CNC Wire eroders, Sodick CNC Spark eroders, and Jones & Shipman surface grinders
  • Proficiency in in-house design using UniGraphics and CAM programming using Visi

Day-to-Day

  • Reviewing engineering blueprints and specifications
