Job summary

Orbital Recruitment are looking for a Toolmaker for our manufacturing specialist client in Derby. Immediate start available.

Starting salary £36,744.40, Monday–Friday with flexible starts between 6-8am and overtime available. You will make parts in Aluminium, Iron and Steel and craft jigs to support train industry production with strict adherence to quality and housekeeping rules.

Qualifications

• Ability to read & interpret basic engineering drawings.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in engineering toolmaking in a similar industry

Responsibilities

• Making parts in Aluminium, Iron and Steel
• Making jigs for producing parts for the train industry predominately
• Observing relevant company processes and housekeeping rules as part of our quality management system
