Job description

Toolmaker required to join a well-established manufacturer of plastic extrusions based in the Great Barr, Birmingham area. The successful candidate will live within the area and come from a toolmaker/manual machinist background.

• Use of surface grinders, lathes, and other manual machinery
• Support colleagues and provide guidance where needed
• Complete tool reports and order spare parts
• Comply with company standards
• Experience in a Toolmaker or similar role
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles
• Live within a commutable distance to Great Barr

Toolmaker Salary & Benefits

• Full-time, permanent position
• Day shift: Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 16:00 (Friday finish at 13:00)
