Job Title:Toolmaker

Location:Aylesbury

Shift:Days

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

Company Overview:

An international manufacturer of injection moulding tools are looking for an experienced toolmaker to join a growing team, this position has become available to ongoing business and contract growth.

The Toolmaker role and responsibilities:

  • Using manual milling, lathes and grinding machines.
  • Manufacture, repair and fitting of Injection Mould Tools
  • Assist the Production Team in trouble shooting tooling and moulding faults
  • Quality checking work and adhering to project requirements

Previous Experience:

  • Experience in manufacturing precision engineering components for moulds and tooling
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
  • Experience with Grinding, Milling, and Spark Erosion machining
  • Ability to work to tight tolerances and high standards of quality
  • Skilled in tool modification, repair, and refurbishments
  • Experience with CAD/CAM programming is a plus
