What will you do in the role?

TheTooling StorekeeperwillTake Responsibilityensuring that all aircraft tooling is controlled, stored, packed, handled and located correctly, whilst adhering to published Engineering procedures and operating to a high standard in relation to aircraft safety. TheTooling Storekeeperwill also:

• Carry out routine inspections of aircraft tooling, conducting minor maintenance and ensure any potential defective tooling is efficiently and cost effectively dispatched for repair or calibration
• You will take a proactive approach to ensure service levels are kept to a high standard
• Maintain records of all transactions in a diligent and accurate manner
• Liaise with internal and external departments/suppliers
• Ensure relevant Tooling Change Bulletins and Tooling Equipment bulletins are actioned appropriately
• Uphold the Tooling departments Mission Statement of‘Right Tool, Right Place, Right time’

What do we need from you?

The successful candidate will:

• Have excellent organisation and Communication skills,ensuring a clean and tidy work environment is always maintained
• You will haveexperience ofworking with Tooling equipmentand ideally have agood understanding of the aviation sector
• Knowledge of tooling/stores processes
• Apply your technical mindset to this technical role
• You will have a proactive and pragmatic approach, as well as the ability to prioritise work in afast pacedanddynamic environment.
• Be flexible and willing to support the needs of the operation
• Have excellent attention to detail
• The successful candidate would require a full UK driving license

After a period of training, it is expected that theTooling Storekeeperwill work on2 days,2 nights,4 days off shift pattern.
