Job summary

Bradfords Building Supplies Ltd in Taunton is seeking a Tool Hire Fitter/Driver. You will deliver exceptional service while ensuring Health and Safety compliance, and you will keep fleet items serviced and ready for hire.

You will service and test a wide range of tools, both mechanical and electrical, and assist customers with tool repairs. Strong mechanical knowledge and customer care are essential.

Qualifications

• Solid mechanical knowledge and familiarity with tools.
• Experience in a Tool Hire environment preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect orders to customers in a timely and professional manner.
• Service and maintain fleet items to high standards.
• Test and service a wide range of tools (mechanical and electrical).

Bradfords Building Supplies Ltd is a leading independent builders’ merchant based across the South West of England. We know our strength lies in our people and the service we offer and we continue to build on this by bringing great people into our teams.

We are looking for a Tool Hire Fitter/ Driver to join our great team in Taunton. Within this role you will ensure customers receive exceptional service every time. You will deliver the highest level of service and guarantee Health and Safety compliance, whilst ensuring you remain sales and results focused.

Alongside this, you will ensure that all fleet items are serviced and maintained to the highest standard and carry out deliveries and collections. You will be servicing and testing a wide range of tools, both mechanical and electrical, as well as providing a service for customers who require their own tools to be repaired.

The successful candidate will possess a good mechanical knowledge and preferably some experience of working in a Tool Hire environment. Excellent customer service skills are also key along with the ability to work well under pressure and to work to timeframes.
