Job Opportunity: Tool Engineer

Our client, a leading company, is seeking a Tool Engineer for a remote role with occasional onsite presence in London (1 day per month). This is an initial 8-month contract with potential for extension, offering a daily rate of £537 (Umbrella-PAYE).

Responsibilities:

• Build and implement tools involving AWS, CA, AV, Backup, and other third-party solutions.
• Support documentation management, productivity improvements, and team collaboration.
• Identify risks and issues proactively.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency with AWS services such as: AWS Systems Manager, CloudWatch, Managed Prometheus, S3, Backup, etc.
• Experience with MySQL MEM, FortiGate Manager, Wintel CA, Trend Deep Secure AV, ELC (CP), Gitlab, Log Shipper (Logstash/Kafka), Windows Jump servers, Sheep-dip server, Cisco ISE, QRadar.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in documentation management, team support, and risk/issue identification.
