Kido is a place where innovation and imagination unite to create modern Early Years settings. We’re looking for a Room Leader to join our team at Kido International Nursery & Preschool Tooting, St Barnabas Church Hall, Thirsk Rd, Mitcham CR4 2BD.

We are an international organization operating in India, USA, and the UK. In the UK, all our nurseries are rated Good and Outstanding by Ofsted, based in London and Windsor. We are expanding with 1-2 new nurseries opening each year! At Kido, we blend Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf Steiner approaches, offering a unique curriculum for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Role responsibilities

As a Room Leader, you'll embody our values of Listen, Learn, and Lead. You will:

1. Take full ownership of your room, creating inspiring experiences aligned with the EYFS and Kido curriculum.
2. Lead and support your team in planning and executing activities that meet each child's needs.
3. Observe, assess, and record children's progress, celebrating their achievements.
4. Ensure a nurturing environment respecting each child's background and needs.
5. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

What we’re looking for

• Level 3 childcare qualification or higher (see gov.uk for approved qualifications)

• Experience as a Level 3 Educator, preferably as a Room or Deputy Room Leader
• Right to work in the UK
• Willingness to undergo DBS check and provide details of unspent convictions if shortlisted
