Job summary

Frasia Wright Associates, a leading international law firm, is seeking an Associate to join its renowned Technology, Media & Telecommunications team in Glasgow, Edinburgh or Aberdeen. The role covers complex commercial, technology and IP matters for high-profile clients.

You should have 2–6 years’ PQE in commercial, technology, IP or TMT, with strong drafting and analytical skills and the ability to advise directly.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years’ PQE in commercial, technology, IP or TMT
• Strong drafting and analytical skills
• Experience advising clients directly
• Experience with IT contracts, technology transactions or data protection would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements including outsourcing, SaaS, software, services, licensing, supply and distribution contracts
• Advising clients on commercial, technology, IP and data protection matters across sectors
• Supporting major technology projects and transactions including digital transformation, IT procurement and outsourcing
• Building client relationships and contributing to business development and industry events
