Job summary

CMS UK recruits a Commercial and Technology specialist to join the Scottish Tech and Media Team in Edinburgh, Glasgow or Aberdeen. You will advise on IT, telecoms, IP and commercial matters across leading sectors, handling high-value outsourcing, SaaS and licensing transactions.

The role offers exposure to fintech, AI, robotics and digital health projects, with significant client interaction and opportunities to develop a specialist practice within a supportive, nationally connected firm.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT/Telecoms, IP and commercial law across diverse sectors.
• 2-6 PQE, exceptional candidates >6PQE considered.
• Experience directly handling client relationships and complex deals.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts (outsourcing, SaaS, licensing).
• Providing specialist IT, IP, data protection and commercial advice.
