Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate Teacher of Girls' PE for our school in Newham. The role offers TLR opportunities for leadership and innovation in girls' physical education and sport development.

Our school is committed to providing excellent PE and sporting opportunities for girls. We welcome applications from teachers who are not only excellent practitioners but also have the drive to lead and develop girls' PE programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging Girls' PE lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and possibly KS5).
  • Motivate female students to appreciate the benefits of physical activity, teamwork, and leadership.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve the girls' PE curriculum and sporting opportunities.
  • Assess and monitor female students' progress in PE and sport.
  • TLR opportunities may include leading a key stage, developing girls' sports programs, leading extracurricular activities, or establishing partnerships for girls' sporting pathways.
