Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Collateral Tech SME, providing analysis and determining requirements to resolve issues raised to the team.
  • Support the business and analysts in understanding and documenting issues in OTC derivative, repo, and MBS collateral management.
  • Design technical solutions within the capabilities of the TLM Collateral Management System.
  • Upgrade TLM Collateral Management to a later version.
  • Configure software modules and upgrade databases.
  • Setup and configure IIS websites.
  • Own full UAT & regression testing post-upgrade, including downstream feeds and outputs.
  • Configure and test changes for the AcadiaSoft MarginSphere adapter.
  • Collaborate with vendors to improve system performance.
  • Create and update SQL extracts.
  • Optimize batch processing to reduce business impact during failures.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience with upgrading/supporting TLM Collateral Management for OTC derivatives, repo, and SBL.
  • Understanding of collateral management obligations, including variation and initial margin.
  • Product knowledge of OTC derivatives, repo, and SBL.
  • Experience configuring IIS websites and authentication.
  • Strong SQL skills, including stored procedures.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with XML and MQ messaging.
  • Ability to work under pressure autonomously and in teams.
  • Stakeholder communication skills at all organizational levels.

Nice to Have:

  • Degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Application development experience with SQL, ETL tools, Java, Python, C#.
  • Experience in application and systems analysis, architecture, and database design.
  • Experience with enterprise DBMS like Oracle and SQL Server, including stored procedures.
  • Experience in regulated industries, banking, or financial technology.
  • Experience across application stack layers, Java frameworks, data modeling, RDBMS, monitoring, CI/CD, DevOps, Atlassian tools.
