The ideal candidate will have demonstrable engineering knowledge, at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, and a strong understanding of PSSR, LOLER, and machine safety regulations. This role involves managing contractor performance, conducting audits, and promoting a culture of safety among teams.

Job Title: Engineering Compliance Technician

Reporting to the Facilities and Compliance Manager, you will have experience managing PSSR, LOLER, LEV, and Machine Safety Compliance in complex environments. You should be motivated by challenges and committed to adhering to current legal requirements and best practices. Key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Ensuring compliance with the company's health and safety policy
• Maintaining quality control standards
• Ensuring site obligations to produce safe, legal, and authentic products through compliance with quality systems and standards
• Managing contractors and maintenance suppliers via performance reviews
• Supporting maintenance and excellence roadmap implementation
• Creating and reviewing business continuity plans
• Supporting site outages for compliance-related works
• Adhering to maintenance schedules through effective resource planning
• Tracking maintenance and compliance activities using the Crimson Zurich platform
• Reviewing maintenance activities to identify cost-effective improvements
• Applying RCA/5-why analysis and problem-solving techniques
• Supporting the site and departmental 5S program
• Developing maintenance improvement techniques
• Driving reliability-centered maintenance and FMECA activities
• Liaising with manufacturers and suppliers to promote standardization, improvements, and cost efficiencies
• Conducting internal audits to ensure compliance and best practices
• Aligning activities with OGSM deliverables
• Supporting the daily duties of the Facilities and Compliance Manager
• Maintaining compliance with PSSR, LOLER, LEV, and machine safety standards at all times
• Aligning activities with overall business objectives and understanding their impact on the bottom line
• Collaborating with other teams to improve business processes
• Promoting a strong safety culture
• Applying OE principles and coaching teams on their use
• Utilizing all available opportunities for continuous improvement

Essential qualifications and experience include:

• Demonstrable engineering knowledge in compliance with PSSR, LOLER, LEV, and machine safety
• Experience with LOTO, automation, CI tools and techniques
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
