A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Tissue Viability Clinical Nurse Specialist in Liverpool. The role involves providing clinical leadership and expertise in tissue viability, ensuring high-quality care, and supporting clinical staff in skill development. The Tissue Viability Clinical Nurse Specialist will work within the Infection Prevention and Control Team and is responsible for deputising in the management of the Tissue Viability Service Lead within the Trust. The post holder will work in partnership with clinical services to provide professional and clinical leadership and expertise in the specialty of tissue viability
The post holder will ensure an evidence-based approach to all aspects of tissue viability including specialist assessment, treatment and management of patients and the education, training and development of specialist skills of clinical staff.
The post holder will support the patient safety agenda including the use of root cause analysis and sharing of learning to promote continuous quality improvement.
The post holder will work with and support of support of the Tissue Viability Clinical Lead across the Trust to ensure that all patients, relatives and staff have access to specialist Tissue Viability care and support.
The post holder will promote the delivery of high quality, clinically effective care, prioritising and utilising research and collaborating with colleagues in every day practice. The post holder will be responsible for the provisions of specialist advice and management plans for patients with complex care needs.
