Job Description:

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced healthcare support worker to join our specialist nurse-led, Tissue Viability team within the Acute Service Division (ASD), NHS Fife.

The team provides expert support to all acute services, on wound care, pressure ulcer prevention and management, staff education and training, and works closely with specialist practitioners in the HSCP to ensure a consistent approach to Tissue Viability across NHS Fife.

It is essential that the post holder has relevant experience dealing with pressure ulcer prevention and management and a basic knowledge of wound care, although comprehensive induction and training will be provided for the right candidate.

This role is ideal for a Band 2 or Band 3 Tissue Viability Link Practitioner interested in developing their knowledge and skills within a supportive team. It may also suit a registered nurse looking to 'retire and return' part-time.

The successful candidate will be a motivated, enthusiastic practitioner with an interest in continuous professional development and keen to contribute to safe, effective, person-centred nursing care.
