Job summary

VerseOne Group is seeking a Tissue Viability Nurse to join our dedicated team in an acute hospital setting. You will hold post graduate qualifications in Leg Ulcer Management and Wound Management, and have at least 2 years' experience in a Tissue Viability Team.

The CNS TV will provide specialist nursing advice and support for prevention and management of pressure ulcers and complex wounds, lead on training, audits and quality improvement, and work with colleagues to raise care standards.

Qualifications

• NMC Pin must be held.
• Active involvement in the management & reduction of hospital acquired pressure ulcers & moisture lesions.
• Experience in tissue viability and wound care.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical advice and support for prevention and management of pressure ulcers and complex wounds across the site.
• Lead on education, training, audits and quality improvement within the Tissue Viability service.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high quality skin and wound care and contribute to Harm Free Care initiatives.
