Job summary

FM Conway Ltd is seeking a reliable HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver for night-shift duties at our Erith depot. You will operate a tipper to move asphalt and aggregate to various sites, following supervisor instructions and maintaining vehicle standards.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, HGV Class 2, CPC and Digital Tachograph card, plus experience with tipper work and asphalt. Nights 18:00–04:00 with a permanent contract and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a Class 2 HGV to and from site.

• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Job description

FM Conway is currently seeking a HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver - Nights to join our Aggregates and Asphalt Division based from our Erith depot. As our HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver - Nights, you will drive an allocated tipper vehicle to transport asphalt and aggregate to various sites. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis, working nights 18:00 - 04:00.

The duties of the HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver - Nights role will include:

• Driving and operating Class 2 HGV to/from site
• Transporting asphalt to our customers in a safe and professional manner
• Working in conjunction with your supervisor’s instructions
• Maintaining vehicle and equipment in line with established company standards
• Completing and submitting the required daily defect sheet
• Acting in accordance with company policies and procedures

What skills and experience do you need?

Our ideal candidate will hold a full UK driving license, a HGV Class 2 license as well as a full CPC and Digital Tachograph card. Tipper driver and asphalt experience is essential.
