Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience driving a Tipper vehicle.

Job Title: Class 2 Tipper Driver – Plant Hire (Ongoing Work)
Location: Ipswich CM2
Salary: £15.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Ongoing
Shift: Monday to Friday | 07:00 – 17:00

About the RoleAn established and reputable Plant Hire company based in Purfleet is seeking experienced Class 2 Tipper Drivers for an ongoing contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting a Tipper vehicle between Ipswich Docks and Sizewell on a daily basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for long-term, consistent work — with no handballing required.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 Tipper safely and responsibly
  
  
• Complete daily runs from Ipswich Docks to Sizewell
  
  
• Navigate efficiently around London and surrounding areas
  
  
• Adhere to all transport, road safety, and company regulations
  
  
• Conduct vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
  
  

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  
  
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience driving a Tipper vehicle
  
  
• Sound knowledge of Ipswich, London routes, and surrounding areas
  
  
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
  
  
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required
