Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting for our market leading client in the Rushden area for an experienced Class 2 Tipper Driver. You will work Monday to Friday, with early start times and be prepared to stay away from home, with paid hotel accommodation supplied.

Salary is £15.00 per hour PAYE plus £25 per night out allowance. Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement and relevant CPC/Tachograph credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (Cat C).
• 2 years experience on Class 2.
• Minimum 12 months experience on tippers.
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Understanding of WTD legislation.
• Interview will be required (induction and short driving assessment the same day).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 tipper vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Carry out tipper work, transporting and tipping products such as aggregate/topsoil.
• Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
• Ensure timely completion of routes.
• Work away from home with accommodation provided in a paid hotel.

Job description

The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting on behalf of our market leading client based in the Rushden area. We are looking for experienced Class 2 Tipper Drivers (working away) to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 am to 07:00 am start times.

Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour PAYE with £25 per night out allowance.

Location: Rushden, NN10.

Job Type: Temporary to permanent.

The Role
