Siamo Recruitment are partnering with an established wood distributor in Cirencester to recruit a Production Operative. Join a hands-on team where quality and efficiency matter and where training is provided to help you grow in the role.

The role offers weekly pay, on-site parking, a pension scheme and access to PPE. It is a fast-paced environment in a rural location, with opportunities to become a specialist in the production and distribution process.

Qualifications

• Production operative experience is essential.
• Quality control experience is essential.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport.
• Physically able to lift up to 20kg regularly.
• Experience with shift patterns is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Quality checking all goods throughout and post manufacture.
• Loading raw materials into the production process and potentially lifting/stacking finished pallets.
• Running safety checks on machinery.
• Machine operating safety and efficiently.
• Preparing products for dispatch and loading pallets for delivery.
• Liaising with supervisors with any issues.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations, wearing PPE.
• Supporting team members regularly.
• General yard duties.
