Job summary

Frey Consulting Group is recruiting a Production Operative in Banbury to join a timber production team building packing cases, crates and pallets to customer specifications. You will use saws, nail guns and hand tools to produce sturdy packaging for safe global transit.

Ideal candidates have hands‑on timber experience from pallet or case making and are comfortable measuring and cutting accurately. This is a daytime, Monday–Friday role with steady hours, weekly pay, and ongoing work with a

Qualifications

• Experience in timber production such as pallet or case making, joinery, carpentry, fencing, or sawn timber work.
• Confident using saws, nail guns and hand tools.
• Able to measure and cut accurately and work physically on a hands‑on production line.

Responsibilities

• Build timber packing cases, crates and pallets to size and specification.
• Cut, measure and fit timber accurately using saws and hand tools.
• Assemble using nail guns and other fixing tools.
• Work from job specifications and drawings.
• Check completed work for strength and quality before it moves on.
• Keep the work area safe, tidy and organised.
