Job summary

HR Employment Ltd in Gloucester is seeking a reliable machine operator for timber moulding and cross-cutting to support our fire door production. Training will be provided by a Weinig engineer; experience with timber moulders is preferred but we can train operators from other woodworking machinery.

This full-time role is 40 hours per week, from 7:30am to 4pm with breaks. Hourly pay is £15; holiday entitlement is 22 days, plus bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Timber moulding experience preferred; willingness to learn new Weinig machines.
• 1 year experience with wood manufacturing machines preferred.
• Full training by a Weinig engineer will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate timber moulding and cross-cutting machinery within tolerances for fire doors.
• Work as part of a team to support quality controls.

We are looking for a reliable operator, that can work as part of a team to our quality controls and within tolerances that are required for fire doors

Full training on the machines by Weinig engineer will be given.

We would prefer a machinist already experienced in using timber moulders, however, we can train an operator that has experience using other wood manufacturing machines and is flexible and willing to learn

Full time

40 Hours per week

7.30am start - 4pm finish. Breaks 10am - 10.15and and 1pm - 1.30pm.

Rate of pay £15 per hour

Holiday entitlement - Twenty-Two days, Five of which are saved for Christmas break + Bank Holidays.
