Role Overview

In a Nutshell…

We have an exciting opportunity for a Timber Frame Trainee to join Vistry Group. As our Trainee, you will learn the trade of erecting pre-manufactured timber frame homes on our construction sites. This is a new trainee programme launching this year!

With increasing demand for sustainable housing, faster build times, reduced vulnerability to labour shortages, and improved energy efficiency, timber frame construction is emerging as a strong alternative to traditional methods. Join Vistry Group and be part of this exciting initiative.

As a Timber Frame Installer Trainee, you will gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience related to successful project implementation. You will understand health, safety, and environmental principles in timber frame construction, along with Quality Assurance processes related to our products and services.

You will also learn about build programmes, product scheduling, build sequencing, project specifications, technical design, and customer service within timber frame operations.

Alongside hands-on experience, you will work towards a Level 2 Construction Assembly Installation Operative Apprenticeship with Barnsley College.

The role involves working in a group of four, with the site location around Leeds.
