Established for more than 75 years, Jacksons is a family-run business renowned for supplying market-leading fences and gates, all backed by a 25-year guarantee. Our clients range from homeowners to industrial and high-security establishments, protecting facilities and equipment. We are currently seeking a hardworking professional to join and support our timber assembly team.

The Role

As a member of our team, you will be involved in the assembly of timber components, using machinery (subject to training and experience), jigs, and pneumatic hand tools to manufacture high-quality garden products. Previous experience in manufacturing or a related production environment is preferred. Training will be provided, but we value individuals who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and possess a positive attitude. This is a manual role involving some lifting and repetitive tasks.

Main duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Working within a fast-paced workshop environment
  • Labour and manual handling
  • Building and finishing various high-quality timber products
  • Supporting team operations

Working hours are Monday-Thursday, 8am-5:45pm, and Friday 8am-4:15pm. Due to the location of our office, own transport is essential.
