Job Description:

The Home and Electronics Strategy team's goal is to build strategies to support Home and Electronics merchants' growth. This includes policy building, data analysis, merchant management, and special projects. Our team constantly reinvents our methods to meet stakeholder and client demands. We are seeking a results-driven and strategic ads strategist to own ad revenue performance in the Home & Living and 3C industries. This role requires strong planning, a data-first mindset, and a deep understanding of advertising operations to drive growth through effective target setting, strategic execution, and collaboration with category CM&AMs, the ads team, and GBS team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ads Revenue Planning & Goal Setting: Develop quarterly ad revenue targets based on industry trends, margins, take rate, ROAS; break down goals into actionable metrics and align with CM&AMs.
  2. Resource Mobilization & Incentive Design: Use internal resources, policies, and incentives to stimulate merchant advertising; work with CM&AMs to increase advertising penetration and engagement.
  3. Advertising Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Track key metrics like attainment rate, ROAS, TR; identify risks; propose and execute optimization strategies.
  4. Insights & Analysis: Produce performance reviews, ad insights, and merchant growth analyses; suggest optimizations for different advertising products/tools.
  5. Training: Provide training to CM&AMs to enhance their advertising understanding and operations capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Understanding or interest in TikTokShop and eCommerce
  • Experience in digital advertising, platform monetization, or e-commerce ads
  • Familiarity with ad tech tools
  • Strong analytical skills to convert data into insights
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Problem-solving with data and analytical experience
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize
  • Experience or interest in eCommerce
  • Results-oriented with ownership mentality
