Job Description:

We are looking for passionate and talented individuals to join our operations team to build an innovative, secure, and intuitive commerce ecosystem.

The Business Planning & Operations team adopts a strategic approach to drive impact across TikTok. They collaborate with multiple business units and senior stakeholders, including Category, Partnerships, Strategy, Governance & Experience, and Data Science. The team focuses on business growth and operational efficiency by providing insights and practical solutions based on data analysis.

Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with category managers to design and execute category operation strategies, including partner, product, and content strategies to drive business growth.
  2. Analyze partner segments and optimize strategies for short videos and live streaming tailored to different partner characteristics.
  3. Develop and refine product selection strategies based on user preferences and platform insights.
  4. Optimize business SOPs, conduct root cause analysis, and provide scalable solutions for operational issues at the category level.
  5. Build best practices and playbooks to enable partners to implement effective, data-backed strategies.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience in Operational Strategy, Management Consulting, Growth Strategies, or Commercial Analysis.
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
  • Solid logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in consumer-focused environments such as Commerce, Retail, FMCG, Social Media, Technology, or Entertainment.
  • Knowledge of business models similar to TikTok and content-based platforms.
  • Fluency in English, Spanish, or Italian; additional European languages are a plus due to cross-cultural collaboration.
