We are a leading Interpreting and Translation Company in the UK providing face to face and remote interpreting services for Hospitals, Councils, Insurance Companies and other public and private sector organisations. We are urgently seeking to fill our Tigrinya Interpreter Jobs in Beaconsfield, Amersham, Chesham, Chalfont St Giles, Chalfont St Peter, Gerrards Cross, High Wycombe, Iver, Little Chalfont, Marlow and surrounding areas.
Requirements:
Highly skilled and proficient Tigrinya Interpreters located in the specified areas are sought for this well-paying freelance interpreting role. Eligible candidates must have an excellent command of both English and Tigrinya, possess a comprehensive understanding of the cultural dynamics of both languages, and demonstrate mastery of correct word order and grammar in phrases and sentences. The ideal candidate should have a wide vocabulary, including knowledge of synonyms, idiomatic expressions, proverbs and quotations, which they can use as needed to accurately express themselves in both languages, while demonstrating good communication skills such as clear enunciation, pronunciation, and a professional tone of voice.
Additionally, candidates should exhibit competency in key industries such as Medical, Financial, Insurance, Courts & Tribunals, Police, and/or Government Agencies, and have familiarity with the terminology, procedures, and/or products in those industries. Applicants must present a DBS certificate, a copy of their educational qualifications, two references, a DPSI or Community Interpreting Certificate, and will be subject to the Company's rigorous recruitment and selection process.
Scope Of Work:
Interpret for patients, clients, and end-users who speak limited or no English at all. Duties will also include attending hospitals, GP Practices, Social Services, Job Centres, and other public and private sector organisations. As a community interpreter, you may also attend home visits to provide interpretation services for patients and clients at their premises but you will always be accompanied by a professional.
