Thrive Oldham are recruiting in the Oldham area on behalf of our well established client for a Mechanical Operative. The role involves TIG welding, reading drawings, and quality checks, with a test to assess welding proficiency.

Hours are 20–30 per week, Wednesday and Thursday. Flexibility to meet business needs is required, with maintenance duties included as part of the role.

Qualifications

• TIG welding experience is required.
• Mechanical operative with an engineering background.
• Quality checking responsibilities.
• Ability to read drawings.
• Undergo a welding test.
• Finish and maintenance duties.

Responsibilities
